Minutes of DT11 Forum Meeting on Thursday, 27th February 2008

3.	Questions from the floor	Carrie Lewis felt that it was essential to have a renewed effort to get involvement from unrepresented parishes	JR to get parish list
4.	Minutes of the meeting held on 4th December 2008	A number of minor discrepancies in the attendance list were amended Accepted
5.	Matters arising, not dealt with elsewhere on the agenda	Concern was expressed that BFTC were not represented at the meeting - PS
6.	Chairman and development workers reports	Report circulated in advance – not questions raised The Forum expressed its thanks to Bob Branigan, Bob Kempson and Steve Adamson for their work on refurbishing 5 Nightingale Court Office works virtually complete
7.	Finance report	All MCTi funding has now been drawn down £16,781.31 in bank BK reported that the total refurbishment costs for Nightingale Court came to £2,230.70
8.	Reports from the MCTi working groups
	Community	Carrie Lewis expressed her thanks to Sara Loch for all her help. Areas where further input was needed were in the Arts, and around Young people,
	Economic Development	SA to provide update	SA to circulate
	Environment	Report back on Environment meeting – CL Although attendance was disappointing a lot of detailed information was gathered and an exhibition was planned at the forthcoming Farmer's Market in the Shambles CL – reported that there was a lot of support for developing the Transition Town principles for the whole DT11 area and suggested members should look up the Transition Towns website
	Website	JR reported that the website would be a priority in the Communications strategy but everyone needed to be proactive to get good material input. Doc volunteered to chase the content, Nicci to send photos, Francis to provide article on the Youth centre. In the interim Jo will receive information
	Action Plan project review	BA is actively pursuing parish projects.
9.	Office Premises	The Community office is now functioning and we would shortly be appointing a part time admin. assistant.
10.	DT11 Forum Ltd	The MCTi process requires the establishment of a legal entity to carry forward the implementation of the projects identified through the Community Strategic Plan A Company Limited by Guarantee has been formed (as discussed in previous Forum meetings) DT11 Forum Ltd.	JR to send copy to CL
11.	DSP funding	JR reported that there is a small grant fund through the DSP available for projects identified in Parish Plans, the deadline is very tight but if projects could be identified and submitted to JR by 4th March they could to go to the next CPEND meeting
12.	AGM	April 8th speaker on Transition Towns suggested	CL to follow up
13.	AOB	Up date on the progress of the LARC funding bid
