What - The village youth club is a chance for any young person to spend one evening a week with people of a similar age. Whilst there, they can socialise, play games, sports, learn crafts and go on trips to other, larger establishments (bowling, cinema etc). All of our members frequently say how much they enjoy coming to youth club, as it gives them time with their friends outside of the school and home environment. The wide range of activities on offer is also thoroughly enjoyed; partly due to the opinions and decision making process that the young people are allowed to take part in.
Where - The Community Centre and Recreation Ground
When - Tuesday evenings (Term time only) 6:30 -8:30/9:00 pm
Who - Anyone aged between 8 and 14
Why - To give the younger members of the community a chance to socialise and take part in numerous activities with their peers outside of school hours.
How - A fully qualified Youth Worker and assistants supervise the young people and help implement and organise games, activities, trips, sports and educational programmes.
HELP - We are always looking for extra help, especially from parents who can help supervise on the night. We also welcome older young people to help with the running of the club and offer various award schemes to encourage this. If you can donate any voluntary time to help us, please do get in contact with the club. We welcome the support!
Further Information - Please feel free to contact the club Secretary on: 07908924475 or chrisjuett@hotmail.com
