Children’s Playground & Recreation Ground

  1. To receive a report on the settlement of the outstanding account with Wicksteeds.
  2. To make arrangements for the installation of the two smaller pieces of play equipment to replace the animal benches in the Play Area (in conjunction with DCC and Wicksteed Leisure Ltd.)
  3. To receive a report from the Chairman on the condition of the bench adjacent to the school gate in the Rec. and to decide any action to be taken.

Planning

  1. To receive decisions on previous applications.
  2. To consider all applications received which to date is none.
  3. To consider whether to form a village group/committee to pursue the interests of parishioners in respect to NDDC’s Local Plan. (This item can be deferred if required.)

Finance 

  1. To consider designating No. 2 bank account as the ‘Reserve Fund’ and adding Cllr. Tim Cotton as an additional signatory to both accounts.
  2. To further consider the situation with respect to the contribution to Blandford Leisure Centre. (Details previously circulated.)
  3. To settle all outstanding accounts as follows:
    • COPCC - £41.00 – Printing 100 additional copies of ‘Up Hill Down River’.
    • John Gill - £44.10 – Reimbursement for advert for new Clerk in BMV Mag.
    • Marcus Undery - £425.00 – Felling trees in Rec. on the 29 03 10.
    • Marilyn Peddle - £56.38 – Reimbursement for website fees.
    • Clive Dobson- £TBA – Repairs to gang mower.

Village Items

  1. To receive a report on a meeting with NDDC in respect to carrying out the remedial works to the War Memorial and to finalise details of the scheme.
  2. To consider responses from farmers/agricultural contractors to the DCC’s Community Self-help during Extreme Winter Weather.
  3. To receive any responses to the advert in The Hill for volunteers to join a working group/committee to organise a village event(s) to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. (This item can be deferred if required.)

  1. To receive any correspondence not previously circulated.

  1. To put in place the selection process for appointing the new Clerk/RFO.
  2. To receive an interim report on the appointment of a new Clerk/RFO. (Note if personal details of applicants are to be revealed and/or other confidential matters discussed, it will be necessary for a resolution to be passed excluding the public and press.)
