All meetings are held in the Village Hall unless otherwise stated .

2010

Wednesday, 2nd June

Coffee Morning at Five Chimneys, Duck Street, by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Billington. Produce etc. stalls, cake stall, plants, raffle and much more.

Please support this fund raiser for the Gardeners' Club. Entrance £1.50

Thursday, 1st July

Summer Social Event by car to a very beautiful garden at Knowle Farm, Uploders, by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Halliday. Please meet in the Village Hall car park at 2.00pm. Share transport please.

This must be booked in advance. Cost; entrance £3.50 and teas (masses of home made cakes)
£3.50 - both for charities.

The Village Show, Saturday , 7th August at 2.30pm

Show registration Thursday 5th August 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Location Mrs Downer's hom, 41, Homfield Child Okeford. Please remember to keep a copy of your list of entries plus class numbers.

Saturday 7th August - 9.00 to 10.45am Pleas bring your exhibits to the hall. Each exhibit to be place behind its Entry Card which will be ready on the table plus Class number. Exhibits not removed after prize giving will be sold at 4.00pm. Many thanks.

Thursday 12th August - 9.00am depart, 6.30pm return

Coach Outing to Derry Watkins' lovely garden, superb 'Special Plant' Nursery and the gardens at Lady Farm, both near Bath. The cost will be £22.50 to include coach, light refreshments and tip. Please bring a picnic lunch.

Christmas Social Evening. Fun and games, a slide show, a free glass of wine and sometimes a surprise! Contributions of Seasonal Food for the buffet always welcome.

The Annual General Meeting followed by Mrs Rosie Hardy of Hardy Plants 'Spring Flowering Perennials'. Also at the meeting the Mini-Spring Show will be judged by the visiting speaker.

Wednesday 4th May - 7.30pm

Mr Tim Hooker ' Colour in the Living World'.
